On March 26, 2011 The Egyptian Gazette News reported that a snake escaped the reptile exhibit at the New York, Bronx Zoo.  They had to shut the zoo down until the snake was found. This is an Egyptian poisonous cobra. Scientists say that Egyptian poisonous cobra can kill you in 15 minutes. It is the fastest killing snake.  The cobra is no less than 20 inches long. The zoo owner thinks it is still in the reptile house but others think that it went to where a mouse was seen.
