January 19, 2012. When I visited the awesome Grand Canyon with my family, I saw a good sight from above it. It was so wonderful that I really wanted to dive into it. It has wide space in it. The Grand Canyon covers 1,218,375.54 miles and is 6,000 feet deep at its deepest point. On the day I went, I saw rocks with the sun beaming on them. It was also hot. My family couldn’t go into the canyon over night because we did not have a permit. So we walked around it. I walked to the edge and I was so close to the edge I felt that I was going to tip over. I recommend that people to go to the Grand Canyon because it is and amazing site. The Grand Canyon is located in Arizona and reaches as far as Colorado. This landmark is a national park that is legendary. The Grand Canyon is famous because of the thick sequence of ancient rocks that are exposed on the walls of the canyon. Many people visit this park. The park is known for its sights and animals such as fish, wolves, birds and more.
