STORY BY SYDNEY BARNES, FNN REPORTER, WOODRIDGE BUREAU.

Pretty soon students in grades third through ninth will begin taking the DC CAS .The DC CAS is a standardized test taken by students across Washington, DC.  Students are tested in reading, math, and writing. Lots of kids get stressed out around this time but I feel sad because the test is boring. Whatever the case, make sure you still do your best.

Follow these simple test taking tips for success:

  • Go over the questions more than once.
  • Think outside the box.
  • Show your work.
  • Pay attention in class.
  • Eat a hot breakfast before the test.
  • Get plenty of rest the night before.
  • Take your time when answering questions.
