Student and writer Marcus D. Barbour was born an identical twin on February 2, 2000 to Beverly Barbour and Charles Medley. Marcus attends New House of Deliverance Baptist Church. He has been a FNN Reporter for the Blow Pierce News Bureau for three years while also serving as an editor. One of his proudest moments was becoming an uncle when his niece was born. His latest accomplishment was having his story featured on the front page of the FNN website.

Math is Marcus’s favorite subject. He loves to read nonfiction. In his early years he won numerous awards for playing soccer while attending Birney Elementary School in Southeast, Washington, DC. Marcus wants to attend Howard University to major in Pre-Law with an emphasis on Family Law. Marcus also likes teaching.

Leiloni King is an 8th grade student at Friendship Blow Pierce Academy.
