My Trip to S.E.R.C.

My class trip to the S.E.R.C. (Smithsonian EnvironmentalResearch Center) was fun. The part that I like the most was the canoeing. We went canoeing and we learned how to paddle the right way.

We had a large group so we had three people to a canoe.  The back paddler turns the canoe, and the front and middle paddlers make the canoe go faster. We were a little scared at first but then we got the hang of it and it was really interesting and really, really fun. I would recommend you go because it was really fun and I think you would like it.
