So Small to So Big

Something so small turned out to be so  big. When I went to the plankton station during the trip to the Chesapeake Bay I thought that I would be bored,  but once we started talking about plankton I became very interested in what was being said. Something that caught my attention was how plankton are responsible for the oxygen that we breath. I was so amazed because I never thought that something that small could mean so much to humans. They are microscopic. I really liked that because I had to use a microscope to see the small microscopic plankton. This trip to the Chesapeake Bay was one of the best trips I have ever been on. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun as I learned and explored. I would highly recommend this trip for all students.
