JUNE 9, 2014.  Would you ever think that sitting in school to get an education would be unsafe? Well, it’s the truth! From bullying to school shootings, it’s pretty clear that once a parent leaves their child and sends them off to school, it really might be the very last time seeing their faces.

Last month more than 300 Nigerian girls were captured in Chibok schools dormitories. Who would ever think of being kidnapped at school?

According to CNN news, Abubakar Shekau was the leader of this Islamic group called Boko Haram. The article states, “Shekau claimed responsibility for the mass abduction, warning that his group plans to attack more schools and abduct more girls.” That man is a true terrorist! It also states, “Boko Haram means, "Western education is sinful.” This means that they kidnapped those girls because they didn’t want them to have an education. Why not have an education? Everyone needs education! It’s just crazy that it isn’t safe anymore to go off to school to get an education that is so important.  Parents of the missing Nigerian school girls have succumbed to panic. In the past four years, the number of people Boko Haram killed was 2,300.”

If we all want to help these girls come home, then we all must put an end to this group.
